The Rose and Crown New Defibrillator
The Malling Lions contacted Wrotham Parish Council with a desire to donate a defibrillator to the village a few years ago. WPC agreed to find a central location and to service it in terms of providing replacement batteries and pads. This continued until the latter part of the Covid crisis when all the retailers listed replacement parts as on a ‘long term wait’ due to supply issues from China and similar excuses. That situation was regrettable considering the unit is still under a ‘Manufacturers Warranty’.
A new replacement unit has been purchased and installed 11th August 2022
Online professional recorded demonstration training session with the new unitWrotham Parish Council has donated St George’s Hall as a venue for CPR Training from Kent Fire & Rescue
The first course is scheduled for Wednesday 24th August 2022, commencing at 7.00pm and will last between 1 – 2 hours.
